Carrie Rong (b. 1999) is a designer, writer, and artist interested in the future of interfaces: between human and technology, body and self, past and future. With a background in physiology, she moves fluidly across disciplines of art and science using design as a broad paintbrush.
Born in China and raised in Calgary, Canada, Carrie is shaped by many cultures and ways of seeing. Previous work includes design of visual media, communications and brand strategy, and grassroots community infrastructure. At the core of her creative practice is an evolving search for what remains true through shifting landscapes of time and space.
She is studying Innovation Design Engineering at Royal College of Art and Imperial College London, and is currently a visiting student at Future Spaces Vision Lab in Shenzhen. Previously, she has studied at Design Academy Eindhoven and McGill University, and worked at Edenspiekermann in Berlin.
